Mission :

Arts on Location was established to promote and encourage the evolution of traditional Thai arts as well as other Eastern theatre traditions and practices. Its interest is to create intercultural activities to facilitate an exchange of skills, knowledge and ideas with theatre practitioners from different cultural backgrounds.

What we do :

• • Arts on Location creates intercultural activities 'on location'. Bringing together artists and practitioners from across the globe to discover the cultural context and environment where an East Asian traditional theatre practice was born and developed.
• • Arts on Location also creates intercultural activities 'off location', by taking a theatre tradition from East Asia to practitioners and audiences in other parts of the world.
• • Arts on Location aims to provide a high quality theatre workshop as well as an in depth cultural experience.
