Mission Statement

Arts on Location was established to promote and encourage the evolution of traditional Thai performance arts as well as other Eastern theatre traditions in local, and international context through cultivating international artistic exchange and dialogue and intercultural activities, through educational practice, performance creation and presentation .




Arts on Location aims:

• To organise high quality theatre training programmes with an in depth cultural experience

• To initiate 'on-locational' intercultural activities, bringing together artists and practitioners from across the globe to discover the cultural context and environment where an East Asian traditional theatre practice was born and developed.

• To initiate 'off locational' intercultural activities, by taking a theatre tradition from East Asia to practitioners and audiences in other parts of the world.
